Methods of Installation

New Construction (Full Frame)

New-construction windows are used when you are extensively remodeling a wall and have access to the studs or when you are building a new wall.

  • Complete Replacement: Removes the entire existing window, including the frame, allowing for a complete unit to be installed, which is ideal for extensive remodeling or new construction home.
  • Enhanced Insulation: Provides the opportunity to add new insulation around the window, improving energy efficiency and reducing drafts.
  • Maximum Viewing Area: Since the entire window unit is replaced, you can opt for a larger window size, maximizing natural light and view.
  • Structural Integrity: Ensures the new window is securely installed into the wall studs, offering long-term durability and stability.

Replacement (Insert)

Replacement windows are inserted into the existing frame allowing you to enjoy state-of-the-art windows with minimal disruption.

  • Preserves Existing Frame: Fits a new window into the existing frame, preserving the original interior and exterior trim, which can be more cost-effective and less invasive.

  • Quick Installation: typically faster and less disruptive, making it an ideal option for homeowners looking to minimize the impact on their daily routine.

  • Energy Efficiency: Modern insert windows are designed to be highly energy-efficient, offering improved insulation and performance without the need for full-frame replacement.

  • Customization Options: Allows for easy upgrades to existing windows with various styles, materials, and finishes while maintaining the home’s current aesthetics.

What are your current lead times for installed jobs?

Lead times are always changing, based on demand for our services.  Contact us for current installation lead times, to better plan your project.

We only install products that are purchased directly from us. This allows us to ensure the highest quality and reliability, as we can fully stand behind both the product and our installation. Installing product we are unfamiliar with could compromise our standards and your satisfaction.

We ask homeowners to remove any window or door treatments, such as blinds or curtains, and to clear any large furniture from the installation area. This helps our team work efficiently and ensures a smooth installation process with minimal disruption.

We install throughout the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region.  We typically travel about half way to Buffalo, half way to Syracuse, and half way to the PA border.  Contact us for specific towns beyond that area.
